Mobile Car Battery Replacement & Jump Start in San Jose
Dead battery in the driveway? Won’t start at the office? We come to you with the right battery for your vehicle, install it on the spot, and test your charging system to make sure it doesn’t happen again next week.

The Most Common Roadside Problem — and the Easiest to Fix
Most car batteries last 3–5 years in Bay Area conditions. When they go, they tend to go suddenly — and almost always at the worst possible time. Calling a tow truck for a $200 battery is a waste of money. We bring the battery, install it, and verify your charging system is working properly so you’re not back in the same spot a month later.
If your vehicle isn’t starting, we’ll also rule out the other common culprits — failing alternator, bad starter, parasitic draw — before recommending a battery. About one in five “dead battery” calls turns out to be something else, and we’d rather tell you that on-site than sell you a battery you didn’t need.
What’s Included
- On-site battery testing (load test and conductance test)
- Battery replacement with quality OEM-equivalent or premium battery
- Charging system test (alternator output, voltage regulator)
- Parasitic draw testing for repeated dead battery issues
- Terminal cleaning and corrosion treatment
- Battery hold-down and tray inspection
- Jump start service for stranded vehicles
- Proper recycling of your old battery
- BMW, Mercedes, Audi battery registration / coding (where required)
Signs Your Battery Is Failing
Batteries rarely fail without warning. Watch for these symptoms and replace before you’re stranded.
Slow Cranking
If the engine takes longer than usual to turn over — especially in cool weather — your battery is on its way out. This is the #1 early warning sign.
Dim Headlights at Idle
If headlights dim noticeably when the engine is idling and brighten when you rev it, your charging system or battery isn’t keeping up.
Battery Warning Light
The battery icon on your dash means the charging system isn’t producing enough voltage. Could be the battery, alternator, or wiring — we’ll test all three.
Age Over 3 Years
Bay Area heat is brutal on batteries. Anything over 3–4 years old should be load-tested annually, even if it seems fine.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a mobile battery replacement?
Total cost depends on your vehicle (luxury European batteries cost more) and the battery group size. We quote a flat all-in price including the battery, installation, and any required coding before we arrive.
Do you do BMW, Mercedes, and Audi batteries?
Yes — including the AGM batteries those vehicles typically require, and the battery registration/coding step needed so the charging system recognizes the new battery.
What if my battery isn’t actually the problem?
We test before we replace. If your alternator, starter, or a parasitic draw is the real issue, we’ll tell you on-site and quote that repair instead. We don’t sell batteries you don’t need.
Can you come jump-start me?
Yes. We offer jump start service across the Bay Area. While we’re there, we’ll test your battery and charging system so you know whether it’ll start again tomorrow.
How long does battery replacement take?
Most vehicles, 20–30 minutes from arrival to departure. European vehicles requiring battery registration take a bit longer — usually 30–45 minutes total.
Will I lose my radio presets or settings?
For most modern vehicles, no — we use a memory saver during the swap to keep power to the computer modules so your settings, presets, and clock are preserved. For older vehicles, you may need to re-enter radio codes.
